Court Hire

Beach volleyball is our most popular sport at Yellowave. It’s great fun and highly addictive. This sport gives you that instant holiday feel. Or try the Brazilian sport of Footvolley, it’s the same as beach volleyball but played with the feet – fantastic for anyone who loves keepy uppies! Simply book a court and ask for a footvolley ball at reception.

Private beach volleyball taster

£120 per hour

A super fun way to try the sport. An hour’s introduction to the sport where you get to learn to dig, set and spike. Absolutely no experience necessary. Simply book, turn up in comfy clothing and get your toes in the sand. Our coaches will tailor the session to your group, no matter you age, ability or fitness level. Simply be ready for lots of fun and laughter. Up to 12 people.

If your group is bigger than 12 let us know and we’ll book in additional courts/coaches.

Why not book our Beach House room, lunch or drinks for your post volleyball hangout.

What to wear

All you need is comfy clothing. Most players wear shorts and a t-shirt/vest when warm or leggings or trackie bottoms when it’s a bit colder. No need for anything on your feet until it gets very chilly, then it’s best to wear sand socks or wet suit booties.

If it's raining

Classes run through out the year come rain or shine. If it’s pouring with rain on the day, you can move your booking to the week after, although generally people just get their waterproof on and get stuck in. We have hot showers, lockers and a cafe to warm up in afterwards.

Guest coaching

We often have guest coaches come to Yellowave to run specialist sessions, often run by some of the best players in the UK. Keep an eye on our events page for when the next masterclass or guest coaching session is being held.
