NIVEA SUN® Yellowave is the UK's only permanent beach sports venue of its kind. We offer beach sports activities to all ages and abilities, from absolute beginners to advanced. Beach volleyball, beach soccer, footvolley, beach rugby, ultimate frisbee and bouldering are all available. Simply book a court or pitch with friends or come down to one of our coached sessions. Summer BBQ's

The Barefoot Café / Bar has large tables with floor to ceiling windows opening onto the south west facing decked area. The Barefoot Bar sells Red Roaster coffee, sandwiches, soups, salads and daily specials along with cold beer and Barefoot wine. It's a great place to meet friends and family with a free sandy play area for kids. We also have free WiFi, so it's an easy place to come and work or have a meeting. With a BBQ area it's a great alternative for your company do or family get together alongside some beach volleyball.

St Patrick Day's Tournament

It's the annual St Patrick's Day tournament on 14th March from 12noon. Think Irish and get your green tights on for this fun fancy dress 3-a-side comp. Entry costs £30 with prizes for 1st, 2nd and best costume!

Loyalty Cards

Thanks to all of you who completed our survey last year. Thanks to your feedback we are keeping the cost of both court hire (at £18/hour) and league fees the same. From March 1st the coaching sessions go up to £5 but we are introduing a loyalty card so if you buy 10 sessions you get one free. The good news is that the cost of climbing actually goes down to just £2.50 for all day use. We look forward to seeing you all this summer.

Barefoot Winter Blues, Jazz and Shiraz

Heart The next Barefoot Blues and Jazz is on Sunday 28th March from 2-4.30pm. This month it's some tunes from duo Rachel Munro and Joss Peach. It's free to come and listen. You can reserve a seat inside by pre-ordering a tapas plate and a glass of wine for £10pp.

Pre-book your post marathon lunch

We are offering all marathon runners the opportunity to pre-order their post marathon lunch. The finish line will be just 200m west of the venue with the repatriation area right outside, so it's a great place to meet up with friends and family and grab some fuel.
