NIVEA SUN® Yellowave is the UK's only permanent beach sports venue of its kind. We offer beach sports activities to all ages and abilities, from absolute beginners to advanced. Beach volleyball, beach soccer, footvolley, beach rugby, ultimate frisbee and bouldering are all available. Simply book a court or pitch with friends or come down to one of our coached sessions. Summer BBQ's

The Barefoot Café / Bar has large tables with floor to ceiling windows opening onto the south west facing decked area. The Barefoot Bar sells Red Roaster coffee, sandwiches, soups, salads and daily specials along with cold beer and Barefoot wine. It's a great place to meet friends and family with a free sandy play area for kids. We also have free WiFi, so it's an easy place to come and work or have a meeting. With a BBQ area it's a great alternative for your company do or family get together alongside some beach volleyball.

Fun in the sand come rain or shine!

Autumn Term

The next beach sports taster sessions and climb are in Autumn Half Term on Tues 26th Oct. The cost is £5pp (includes a drink). 2-3pm is for 6-9yrs and 3-4pm for 10-15yrs. Call us on 01273 672222 to book in.

VE Barefoot Beach Fest

Thanks to all competitors

The Volleyball England Brighton Beach Fest sponsored by Barefoot Wine was a great success with teams from across the UK competing in some great games. It was local players who took home medals in the pairs tournaments in some cracking finals at the weekend. For results click here.

Jay's back for the Barefoot Unplugged music and BBQ

BBQ Come and listen to local lifeguard legend Jay Hunter on Friday 27th August. It's free to come and listen or if you want to eat then book a plate of BBQ food for £10. For BBQ booking call us or drop in to pick up a ticket. Come and enjoy the atmosphere.

September mixed 3-a-side tournament

volley The next beach volleyball tournament after Beach Fest is the mixed 3-a-side tournament on Sunday Sept 19th from 12pm. All players in a team must wear the same colour. There's a prize for most matching team. Cost is £30/team. To enter call up with all player names and payment on 01273 672222 or pop in to register.

Footvolley Coached sessions

The UK Footvolley Association run 1hr coached footvolley session at NIVEA SUN Yellowave every Saturday afternoon. The sessions include skills, drills and game play taught by England Footvolley players. Any level welcome. Cost is £4. To sign up email ndugdalemoore@footvolley.co.uk
