NIVEA SUN Yellowave - Pre Olympic Games Training Camp

NIVEA SUN Yellowave Beach Sports Venue is the UK's first of its kind. The centre holds six beach volleyball or footvolley courts which can be turned into two 5-side beach soccer or rugby pitches or one international size beach soccer pitch. Families and newcomers to the sports can come and try the sports with taster and drop-in training sessions. Local leagues run Mon-Thur evenings with dedicated sessions for all age groups and ability range.

The venue includes an area for spectators, the Barefoot Bar / café with decked relaxation area and a bouldering wall for climbing. It is situated along Madeira Drive, between the famous and expanding Brighton Marina and the Brighton Pier. It offers a fantastic south westerly view back along Brighton Beach. The venue is open year round from 10am-10pm week days and 10am-8pm weekends. In stage two, sail-like covers will be designed to allow for play in all weathers. With beach volleyball an Olympic sport and FIFA hosting a Beach Soccer World Cup it is an exciting time for beach sports in general.
