Coaching for hope

Our charity

We are proud to support international charity 'Coaching For Hope'

Coaching for Hope uses sport to empower young people from disadvantaged communities. It does this by training and supporting youth workers, young leaders, teachers and coaches from a range of organisations that work regularly with youth in Burkina Faso, Mali and Southern Africa. Members of disability organisations, grassroots football clubs, women’s groups, community schools, and development organisations are trained to use football to engage young people about social issues that affect them, such as HIV/AIDS, sexual health or rights.

Although we can't afford (yet) to simply give cash to Coaching For Hope we support the charity via fund raising events in and around NIVEA SUN Yellowave and by simply trying to raise the awareness of what the programme offers. We hope you can do your part by either getting involved in some of the events or by learning more about some of the issues faced by young people in Africa.
